Crisis Support

Central Alberta Victim & Witness Support Soceity works alongside the RCMP by offering immediate support in moments of crisis and trauma. These events are unpredictable, making preparation impossible.
 

Our team strives to empower and respect the rights and dignity of victims by ensuring professional and compassionate provisions of support, information and referrals to community resources to assist and lighten the adverse effects of crime and trauma.

 

Following an act of violence, crime or tragedy victims often feel overwhelmed by shock, fear and loss of control.

Our team can assist during the critical and initial stages of crisis to meet this sense of urgency and offer support, information and referral to assist victims on their road ahead.
